We use Marine Vinyl typically sourced from Australia suppliers, typically Clarke Rubber. Clarke Rubber have a good information on the Vinyl supplied.
This material is selected to ensure a long service life in harsh Australian conditions. Marine vinyl is specifically designed to be UV stable and stand up to some of the harshest environments. As with all our FJ55 parts the vinyl cover parts have been installed in our own FJ55 based here in Australia.
Vinyl is attached to the printed material with contact adhesive.
NOTE: We have been advised that the pattern on the marine vinyl has been changed. Vinyl shown in images on our site typically are a leather look (e.g. images below). This has now been changed to a pebble finish. Fortunately this is closer to the original finish of the part in the original Landcruiser FJ55s.
Please be aware of that new orders may have the new vinyl.

- Flame retardant (Tested to AS 1530 Part III), Ignitability Index 17, Spread of Flame Index 0, Heat Evolved Index 0, Smoke Developed Index 5
- Cigarette Burns: Smouldering cigarette will not ignite upholstery material. Burn test: (AS 37441.1)
- IMO Standards: Meets International Maritime Organisation FR standards A.652 (16).
