3D Printing Materials

What materials do we use?

At 3DOM we ‘make’ things in many different materials. The materials are selected to suit the each project in number of different ways like the intended outcome, build process and requirements.

A large number of our projects utilise multiple materials to achieve specific goals.

For 3D printing we have a number of different filaments that we use regularly, typically PLA, PETG, PC and flexible filaments. We can work with you to decide what material is best for you and your project.

Most common Filaments we use are:

  • PLA
  • PETG
  • TPU (Flexible)
  • PC Blend (Polycarbonate)

For 3D printing filaments if you’d like to know more I suggest looking at a this All3DP site that we often refer to when talking about the materials their properties and use cases.
